Jim Clark
Jim Clark holds the rank of Sandan (3rd degree black belt) and has been with Aikido of Phoenix Chandler dojo since its' earliest beginnings in 1996 and completed the Aikido of Phoenix Makoto Program- Advanced Student Achievement course and test.

 

John Scanlin
John Scanlin holds the rank of Nidan (2nd degree black belt) and has been with Aikido of Phoenix since 1996. John is certified Personal Protection Instructor and completed the Aikido of Phoenix Makoto Program- Advanced Student Achievement course and test.

 

 

 


Robert Vaughn
Robert Vaughn holds the rank of Shodan (1st degree black belt) and was one of the first students to attend class at our Chandler location. Robert has completed the Aikido of Phoenix Makoto Program- Advanced Student Achievement course and test. Robert is also the primary instructor for adult classes at our South Chandler dojo.



Darrell D'Antonli
Darrell D'Antonli holds the rank of Shodan (1st degree black belt) and is an integral member of Aikido of Phoenix. Darrell has completed the Aikido of Phoenix Makoto Program- Advanced Student Achievement course and test. Darrell is also the primary instructor for classes at our Mesa dojo.

 

 

Lucy Mailloux
Lucy Mailloux holds the rank of Shodan (1st degree black belt) and is an integral member of Aikido of Phoenix. In addition to her Kihon Instructor duties she is the personal assistant to Mastison Sensei.

 

 

 

Fred Wahlstrom
Fred Wahlstrom holds the rank of Shodan (1st degree black belt) and is an integral member of Aikido of Phoenix. Fred has completed the Aikido of Phoenix Makoto Program- Advanced Student Achievement course and test.

Kihon Instructors

We are fortunate at Aikido of Phoenix to have several students that have grown to take on teaching responsibilities. This is a serious commitment and is only extended to those we feel actually embody what Aikido is about. These students are know as Kihon, or fundamental instructors and rotate their teaching duties on a regular schedule. Our Kihon instructors are:
